Overview

High Point Midget Football (HPMF) offers flag and tackle football for the residents of Sussex, Wantage, Lafayette, Branchville Frankford and Montague for all youth levels starting at Kindergarden all the way up to 8th grade. HPMF competes within the Morris County Youth Football League which offers the below levels of play:

Flag Football:
  • Required for grade K
  • open to grades K-2
Tackle Football
  • Rumble - 2nd Grade
  • Pre-Clinic - 3rd Grade
  • Clinic - 4th Grade
  • Super PeeWee - 5th Grade
  • PeeWee - 6th Grade
  • JV - 7th Grade
  • Varsity - 8th Grade

Official practices start the week of August 1st. Practices are typically 2-4 days a week depending on the level. Older teams may start conditioning in July (coaches will reach out via SportsEngine).  Games  will start in early September and run through November.  Flag and Rumble games may end in October. Flag games are typically Friday evening or Saturday morning. Rumble home games are typically Sunday late mornings. Pre-Clinic and Clinic home games are typically Saturday mornings. Super PeeWee, Peewee, JV and Varsity home games are typically played on Saturday evenings or Sunday early afternoon. Away games are to be determined to other town schedules but should be similar to ours. There will be no official practice schedule until closer to the season. Game schedules will be released by end of August.

High Point Midget Football's program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the game with emphasis on teamwork, sportsmanship and having fun. When joining High Point Midget Football league, you'll find our organization to be a great place to learn new skills and meet new friends.

High Point Midget Football provides the necessary equipment players need to safely participate. Additionally, all volunteer coaches are carefully screen by HPMF before being approved to take the field with the players.
